In order to move the TextCursor to a visible line, this mode by LukeGorrie
allows you to perform a binary search -- the first key moves you half
a window, the next a quarter window, and so on until at last you move
by single lines.

With a tall window, it's another good way to get to something near the middle. The alternatives are searching and mousing.
