so yeah.
i've got a rpi 3.
i'm writing this on that.

i haven't seen a computer that small, and it shipped with a box.
neat stuff, haven't got a computer with a box in a long while.

i had an 9front pi image around, wrote that to my 16GB sdcard.
god, that took hours to complete.

finally, plugged all cables and things works, lights turn on.
damn, this thing boots fast, problaly magic of having no BIOS
cool, i said, while looking at Plan 9 console screen, 1024x768

it asks me which device to use, local!/dev/sdN0/fs is offered as the default
x230's mmc showed up in /dev/sdM0, but i guess this one is different.

after asking for user it has started booting, starting /bin/rc

...
...
it's stuck there for few minutes.

maybe some device is poorly behaving, i disconnect usb devices
and it works. :)

it took me few more times to figure out the issue from my audio usb card
it doesn't system go past termrc, but if i connect it afterwards, things work ok.

expect they don't.
audio over usb doesn't work.

it seems pi 3 had a poor usb design, it doesn't feed enough power to my devices.

oh well.
sucks.
cool computer otherwise, unless you are compiling stuff.
then it's hot.
